"Ivory Champagne Stallion"

Little Breeze Chinook is a stunning and rare Ivory Champagne Stallion. Foaled in May of 1995, he stands at 15hh. He has a friendly and willing disposition, and is naturally very well gaited.

His Sire: Calta Coppernicus
His dam: Little Breeze

Chinook is the spitting image of his dam, who produced nothing but exceptionally high quality offspring , many which are now popular show horses. His ancestors on both sides were very natural, smooth-gaited horses.

Chinook has proven to be smart and agile on the trail, and loves to get out and go! He has an eager disposition and loves to be worked and challenged. His offspring are consistently intelligent and eager to please as well.

"Even when he's dirty he glows!" The Champagne gene is a 'dilution gene'. It dilutes any horse's base color, much like the cremello gene. The champagne gene will dilute red tones to gold or yellow, and black tones to brown or tan. Despite similarities to palaminos or buckskins, the champagne horse is easy to identify. It's skin will be pink or whitish, often with dark 'freckles'. Champagnes are usually born with blue eyes, which change to amber with age, and they tend to have a unique metallic shine to their coats. They seem to change color in different lights, and in the sun they practically glow!

Champagne horses can be 'gold champagne', 'amber champagne', 'classic champagne' and 'ivory champagne'. The champagne gene is a dominant one, meaning it is never carried recessively. When breeding non-champagne to champagne, there is a 50% chance of getting a champagne foal.

Cheers!

Chinook loves attention and loves being with his people.
He knows how handsome he is!
